At Leggett Insurance Agency, we are lucky to have the opportunity to safeguard the lives of those we serve, EVERY DAY! Although our work can be extremely rewarding, the desire to broaden our impact within our town is everpresent. As insurance providers, our goal has always been to assure proper protection for families. For this reason, we understand that the time has come to make giving back to those that are less fortunate part of our agency’s daily operations too!

For instance, did you know that 1 out of every 10 residents of Connecticut fall below the poverty line? That means those families are struggling consistently to make ends meet! Connecticut’s overall affluence has cast a shadow over the poverty in our midst for far too long! Our crew here at the Leggett Agency has decided it is time to take active steps to combat poverty, especially within black and Latino communities where poverty rates are at least double that of the state average.

We hope to support those that are less privileged by rallying support from our customers and friends. We hope to donate generated proceeds to grassroots local non-profits in our area that serve the underprivileged families. People need help now, regardless of race, religion or nationality. Through your recommendations, you will join our mission to empower families in our town to break free from this epidemic of injustice.
